About the Role
a. The Board shall be empowered to establish resolutions and policies and to amend active and inactive resolutions and policies in order that the Indian Forest Companies Incorporated may advance further.
b. The Board shall be responsible for execution through the General Manager, of the resolutions and policies to be established.
c. The Board shall constitute the policy making body of the Indian Forest Companies and as such shall have power to ratify and approve all major projects and campaigns.
d. The Board shall be empowered to approve all expenditures and the annual budget as submitted by the General Manager
e. The Board shall organize the books, accounts and operations of the Indian Forest Companies Incorporated.
f. The Board will ensure that all operations and activities are in compliance with applicable laws of the State of Georgia and of the United States.
g. The Board shall develop adequate resources to ensure the financial stability for the corporation’s activities including through direct and indirect financial contributions and commitment to fundraising.
h. The Board shall support the General Manager in pursuit of the mission, vision, goals, values and accomplishments.
Requirements
No person shall be a member of the Board of Directors except a general member of the organization for three years in good standing and being of age twenty-one (21) following the adoption of this constitution.
About the Company
The legislative authority and powers herein mentioned, shall be vested and empowered to the Board of Directors (The Board) of the Indian Forest Companies Incorporated.
