Eagles Board of Directors

Final Nominations to be held November 30th

The Board of Directors of the Indian Forest Companies, serves as the legislative branch of government for the organization and is composed of up to twelve but no less than three members. They are appointed/nominated by the General Manager/CEO with approval from the general members of the Eagles Membership Association. Once approved by the General Members, they serve a term of three years with one reappointment possibility. A board member can not serve more than six years consecutive but may be reappointed after one fiscal year has expired since their last term. The Board of Directors meets quarterly or when called upon by the General Manager/CEO.

The Board of Directors have the following responsibilities and powers:
1) The Board of Directors shall have power and authority to establish and issue resolutions, which shall have the effect of law, supreme policy and/or procedure except wherein mentioned in the constitution (ex. the Board can't change the clause effecting the term of the Founding General Manager)
2) The Board of Directors will constitute the policy making body and as such shall establish such policies that support the mission of the organization
3) The Board of Directors shall approve all major campaigns and projects as proposed by the General Manager
4) The Board of Directors shall approve of the proposed fiscal year budget
5) The Board of Directors shall approve all expenditures
6) The Board of Directors will ensure prudent usage of all assets, including facilities, people and good will
7) The Board of Directors shall ensure that all activities and functions are conducted in accordance to applicable laws of the United States and the State of Georgia.
